SCREEN RUNNERS FOR HIGH IMPACT.
The act of running impacts your muscles, joints and ligaments. The impact when the foot hits the ground is repetitive and ruthless. Unlike standard metrics like heart rate, distance, speed and time, our technology can capture these impacts. Overload, asymmetry and poor movement control causes setbacks, injuries and pain. Up to 79% of runners get injured each year. And because everyone moves differently, we employ A.I. to assess how your way of moving impacts your body. Our biomechanics wearable can detect how specific exercises and running technique affect your body’s ability to cope with these impacts.
A NOVEL WAY TO PERFORM RUNNING GAIT ANALYSIS.
CUMULATIVE IMPACT (Gs)
The sum of all impacts the body is subjected to per day. Typical use: precisely monitor the total amount of impact imposed from striking the ground during a run which can help you safely and gradually build up a client’s training regime e.g., set goal of 10% weekly progression.
PEAK RATE OF IMPACT (Gs/second)
How quickly impacts reach your sacrum. Typical use: to indicate when the legs’ ability to absorb impacts begins to deteriorate. Related to lower limb overuse injuries.
Keep track of running cadence, ground contact time, running speed, and distance covered. Typical use: to determine the optimal running cadence and optimal running speeds to minimize impact or asymmetries; identify decreases in performance with longer contact times related to fatigue.
Left-right difference in impact. Typical use: detect deviations from a runner’s typical profile for distributing impact between the left and right leg, which can indicate your body is compensating for fatigue, pain or injury.
Side-to-side sacral movements during landing on a scale from 0.0 to 2.0. Typical use: to identify when fatigue is yielding inefficiencies in your running technique.
EVALUATE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF YOUR INTERVENTIONS.
Runeasi’s real-time functionality gives you immediate and objective visual feedback about how well your patients are moving. Hence, you can immediately identify problem areas, weak links, or poor running technique.
Test your verbal cues out on your patients as you guide them through rehabilitation and return to play/sport. Correct with confidence and surety in knowing what works for them.
Help your patients emerge stronger than ever by giving personalized feedback on important technical parameters like impact asymmetry. Runeasi will help you improve your patients running technique and their ability to achieve your sporting goals!
